This 4-hour capacity building workshop will equip participants with skills to better support peers in their familiar networks (e.g. in school, at workplace) and gain knowledge on common mental health issues. Participants will learn and practice the role of a peer supporter, understand common mental health needs in various settings, and acquire active listening techniques like demonstrating empathy. The workshop comprises both theory and practical components such as demonstrations and role-playing to learn how to support their colleagues better. Participants will also understand the importance of self-care to prevent burnout and will incorporate self-care habits into their daily lives.

Onsite session fee: $750 (Weekdays), $900 (Weekends/Night)
Note: Co-funding amount by HPB will remain the same for both virtual and physical session.
