Programme Synopsis/Outline
Mindfulness refers to being in a state where one is experiencing active and open attention to the present. In this state, one observes one’s own thoughts and feelings without any judgement – these thoughts and feelings are neither good nor bad. By practicing mindfulness, a relaxation technique, one can develop a deeper insight into his or her own consciousness and identity, which could lead to attaining a degree of peace in a mental and relational capacity.
This relaxation technique is also essential in mindfulness-based therapies, which aims to address stress, anxiety, or pain, and most importantly, it allows the individual to become more relaxed. In this webinar, methods, purposes, and goals of mindfulness relaxation will be explored.
